The Wild Places We Love

A Field & Fly Shop and a community, coming to Historic Downtown Roswell, Georgia.

erä
noun · Finnish

An ancient word that holds a cultural meaning relating to the wilderness, to hunting and fishing — a “share” of the wild places. It’s the idea our whole shop is built around: that the outdoors is something you take part in, not something you have to earn your way into.

Hobbies should be fun.

“Hobbies should be fun, not intimidating or pretentious.”

Too much of the outdoor world can feel like a closed club — gatekept gear, unspoken rules, and a price of entry that scares people off before they ever get their boots wet. We don’t believe in any of that.

Erä Outfitters exists to get you outside: to equip you with our favorite gear, point you toward good water and good fields, and make the whole thing feel like an invitation instead of a test.

From the duck blind to the tailwater.

We’re a shop for both sides of the season. The Field — dove, quail, and upland birds, the early mornings and the long walks. The Water — the Southern tailwaters we call home, the Chattahoochee below Buford Dam and beyond.

We carry apparel and gear we actually use, plus our own Originals, and we keep an eye on the river so you don’t have to guess — live Chattahoochee conditions are always a click away.

More than a store.

We’re building a brick-and-mortar Field & Fly Shop in Historic Downtown Roswell — but the shop is only half of it. The plan is a gathering place: seasonal hunts, crawfish boils in the spring, pig roasts and live music through the summer, and a bar to land at when the day’s over.

A place to get geared up, swap stories, and meet the people who love the same wild places you do.
